Why should I buy from FruitandVeg2U.co.uk

We are a family business that has been operating for over forty years. Our buyers have a passion and knowledge for sourcing the best ingredients from around the world, to offer our customers the best quality, choice and price. We pride ourselves on the quality and service we provide our customers, and are now pleased to offer the same advantages to you, directly to your home.

 

Do you deliver to my area?

We are pleased to offer delivery across all England postcodes. Note that we are not able to deliver to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

 

How do I know your products are safe?

We are accredited with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8 at Grade A. This is the benchmark supermarket buyers look for to ensure their suppliers follow all good practices, and that the growers we work with provide assured produce, meaning no nasty pesticides or chemicals on our lovely fresh veg.

 

I want to order, but change some products due to allergies or dietary requirements?

When you place your order, please make any substitution requests in the Notes section before check-out. We are only able to substitute with other products from the same box. 

 

Can I order over the phone?

Due to the current ongoing crisis, we have reduced our office based staff to only essential colleagues, and therefore are not able to receive any telephone orders. Please make all purchases through the website. Our card payments are facilitated through Shopify to give you that extra re-assurance and peace of mind that you are dealing with a reputable businesses. I've placed an order but not received any confirmation?

Provided you have given a valid e-mail address, you will automatically receive an order confirmation at the time of order. Please do check your Junk and Spam messages just incase your e-mail provider has automatically forwarded to one of these folders. If no e-mail address is provided, the confirmation is sent via SMS text message. If for any reason you have not received any confirmation, or require a copy, please get in touch by e-mail sales@fruitandveg2u.co.uk

 

When can I expect delivery of my order?

All orders placed before 12pm are despatched for next day delivery. Note that we do not provide deliveries on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. If you order after 12pm on Thursday, your order will be delivered on the following Tuesday.

 

How can I track my order?

You will receive a notification from our courier the day we despatch your order (the day before delivery). This will give you your tracking number. On the morning of your delivery you should receive another message giving you an ETA.

 

I've not received my tracking details?

If you have not heard from our courier on the morning your delivery is due, please send us an e-mail on sales@fruitandveg2u.co.uk quoting your Order Number so we can monitor this for you, and provide you with tracking details if not received. Please do check your messages first before getting in touch. Please note tracking messages cannot be sent to Landlines or International phone numbers.

 

I've not received my order?

Please check your tracking link first, and if there is no update, please get in touch by e-mailing sales@fruitandveg2u.co.uk Sometimes our courier may have to delay your delivery to the following day due to increased loads. We pack our boxes fresh daily, so this should not have any adverse effect on your produce. If however you find any issue, please follow our Refund Policy. In any event, please do let us know if there is any delay so we can also monitor your delivery, and push for your order to be delivered at the earliest opportunity. 

 

Some items are missing, or I'm not happy with the quality?

Please send us photographs of your box, externally and internally, including the affected product, by e-mail. We will then investigate and agree the best way forward together to correct the situation. From time to time, our boxes may not be handled with the care it deserves by our delivery partners. If you see bruising, e.g. on bananas or apples from rolling, note that this is not how intend of products to arrive. 

Please send any claim, including photographs, within 24 hours of delivery. Please take as many photos as possible. For example, we cannot refund an entire box of mangoes, if you only send a picture of one fruit.
